Owned and run by Nikki Atkins and Kirsten Bailey, two passionate lash artists with over 13 years of experience, EssexLash is built on a shared love for creating beautiful lashes and empowering women through confidence and education.
Our Story

Since launching in 2015, EssexLash has grown from a small local studio into one of Essex’s leading lash brands, recognised nationally for its artistry, professionalism and results. The talented team specialise in bespoke lash extensions — from natural, lightweight classics to full, glamorous volume sets — always using premium products and the latest techniques to achieve flawless, long-lasting results.
Nikki and Kirsten continually invest in advanced training to stay ahead of evolving trends in the lash industry. Nikki, who achieved her teaching qualification in 2016, is devoted to nurturing the next generation of lash artists through fully accredited, insured lash training courses and mentorship programmes.
Their dedication to excellence has earned EssexLash national recognition. The salon proudly won both Regional and National “Lash Specialists of the Year” at the Make-Up Awards and secured 3rd place at the British Hair & Beauty Awards. Their artistry has been featured across major media outlets including ITV2, the MOBO Awards, and publications such as Hello!, OK!, Reveal, The Sun, Daily Mail, and The Mirror.
In 2021, Nikki’s career reached new heights when she was invited to open and manage the Lash Bar inside Harrods Beauty, London — a huge success that allowed EssexLash to reach an even wider clientele. Later that year, Kirsten officially became a business partner, bringing her exceptional skill, creativity, and six years of dedication to the EssexLash brand.
The team opened the doors to their flagship EssexLash salon in Romford in 2022, creating a calm, luxurious space where clients can relax, unwind, and leave feeling their absolute best.
Today, EssexLash continues to go from strength to strength — offering expert lash treatments, industry-leading training, and a warm, professional environment.
